Your Yako&Co was made to age beautifully. Like all things crafted with care, it just needs a little love to stay at its best. Follow these simple steps and your apron will only get better with time.
01 — GENUINE LEATHER
Start by applying a good leather soap to the areas that need cleaning.
Front of the apron: use a soft, gentle cloth.
Back of the apron: use a gentle brush.
Work in slow circular motions, letting the soap ease into the leather. Finish with a clean, dry towel to wipe away any excess. Allow it to dry naturally, never near direct heat.
Once dry, apply a quality leather wax to the straps to keep them clean, conditioned and supple.
02 — VEGAN LEATHER
Vegan leather is remarkably easy to care for. Simply wipe down with a damp sponge, using gentle circular motions. Leave it to dry naturally and it'll be ready to wear again in no time.
03 — CANVAS COTTON & DENIM
When your canvas or denim apron needs a refresh, it can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle. Reshape while damp and leave to air dry for best results.
